This 3-day programming and maintenance course will cover tasks common to all systems that run under EcoStruxure Control Expert.

Course Overview
By the end of the course, students will have completed hands-on labs teaching them to:
- Program their choice of M340 or M580 PLCs to control a simple machine in the following IEC programming languages: ladder diagram (LD), function block diagram (FBD), structured text (ST) and sequential function chart (SFC).
- Implement derived function blocks and derived data types at a basic level.
- Create, save, download, upload, test, monitor, search, troubleshoot and debug an IEC PLC application.
- Properly maintain and document project changes.
- Understand the basic communications and configurations of a control system.
Sean Burke is an automation specialist with United Electric's OnPoint Automation team with over 30 years of experience in the industrial automation world. He brings a maintenance and troubleshooting perspective to our training classes focusing on PLC, HMI, and VFD integration into today’s fast paced production environment.
